"Selket tried to take complete control over the system lords." Teal'c answered. "They resisted, banishing Selket and she vowed revenge."

"So she's probably gathering as much of an army as she can before making another attempt at seizing control of the System Lords, which if I'm right is a bad thing?" Jack guessed.

"As you would say O'Neill it would be a very bad thing." Teal'c confirmed. "Your usual stance of the foe of my foe is an ally is not applicable here. Selket would lead the combined Jaffa armies against all. The Asgard, the Nox, and us none would be spared her wrath."

"That would make sense from what I saw in my vision. Her army attacked with out mercy they obviously saw anything in the immediate area of the Stargate as a threat." Obi-Wan said.

"Whoa, one minute here. A vision? You Jedi have _visions_!" Jack exclaimed. "Now we are getting out there. This is crazy."

"Actually Jack it's not unheard of. Recent experiences proved that we only use a small percentage of our brain capacity." Daniel reminded the skeptic.

"The Jedi don't always have visions. I have never had a vision myself. However my former Master is one of the most prolific with that gift." Qui-Gon said.

Obi-Wan quickly stood up, "this debate is getting us nowhere. My Master and I have special gifts. We use these gifts to help others. If you want some proof just ask for it. Right now this Selket is planning on killing a lot of my friends and teachers. Whether she realizes it now or not. How do we stop her?"

"We'd really like to talk to your elders about that as well. They may have questions for us that you don't anticipate." Daniel said.

"Two members of the Jedi Council should be here either today or tomorrow depending on how difficult travel was. They will be enough." Qui-Gon's voice trailed off and he started staring at nothing. "Obi-Wan, I think Master Yoda is trying to contact me I need your help."

Obi-Wan wasted no time in gathering in as much Force energy and merging with his master. This time he wasn't worried about what the visitors would think about their after-merge weakness. He just had to concern himself with resisting the need to be as close to Qui-Gon as possible that reared it's head afterwards. He did want his Master as more than a father-figure/teacher, however it looked like the Force wasn't going to let it happen just yet. He was patient and could wait as long as necessary.

--Master?-- the Qui/Obi merged thought raced through space.

--Yes, Qui-Gon, travel to you we cannot. Forbid all travel to you the Senate have. Close to you, the invaders are. Leave you must, if possible.-- Yoda warned the Jedi. --Remember, my dear former Padawan, your duty to the order.--

--Yes, my Master, we will. I shall contact you with whatever information on defenses our guests can come up with. They may have some questions as well. I'd advise being in the Grand Hall for our next contact.-- Qui-Gon ended the conversation with Yoda noticing that he and Obi-Wan weren't as weak as they were the last time they had contacted his old Master. 'The old bond is regaining strength.' He thought.

"So what did your old teacher have to say, Qui-Gon." Jack asked as soon as he noticed that they were out of the trance.

"That we are in danger. Selket is on her way here. You need to tell us how to prevent her from using the Stargate to travel to Coruscant. Then we need to know any possible weakness that we can exploit." Qui-Gon said.

"You can place some sort of cover stone that will cover the entire center of the Stargate, or completely bury it." Daniel offered.

"You use something similar to the cover stone don't you," Obi-Wan said, "You don't have to tell us if it is a secret. It's just that is what seems logical. You should start getting ready to leave. We will bury this Stargate as soon as you depart. That should keep Coruscant safe."
